Open Access Policy
According to the definition of Open Access Publication provided in the Bethesda Statement on Open Access Publishing, there are two conditions that must be met. Firstly, the authors and copyright holders grant all users a free, irrevocable, global, and perpetual right to access, copy, use, distribute, transmit, and publicly display the publication. They are also allowed to create and distribute derivative works in digital form for responsible purposes, while still attributing the authors. Additionally, they have the right to make small numbers of printed copies for personal use.Secondly, a complete version of the publication, along with all supplementary materials including the mentioned permissions, must be deposited in a suitable standard electronic format immediately upon initial publication. This deposition should take place in at least one online repository supported by an academic institution, scholarly society, government agency, or well-established organization committed to promoting open access, unrestricted distribution, interoperability, and long-term archiving.
